Users can share concise video clips with friends and family to exhibit how their local communities or beloved holiday destinations might be impacted by the escalating sea levels induced by our warming climate.

When in proximity to an ocean or bay, users can conveniently aim their mobile devices towards the ground to engage an augmented reality (AR) simulation featuring animated water levels and a measuring pole, demonstrating future sea level elevations at the specific location in feet. This interactive display enables users to record and distribute the captured footage via social media platforms. In instances where the area is not projected to be impacted before 2100, an "All dry here..." signpost is showcased, offering alternative locations to explore sea level estimations.

The application's oceanic elevation forecasts are drawn from the U.S. Global Change Research Program's National Climate Assessment. Real-time tide and elevation information is sourced from NOAA and USGS databases to calculate prophesied sea level increases at the user's current position. These calculations are widely utilized for scientific analyses and planning coastal infrastructure projects, despite their approximative nature due to the exclusion of minor topographical features (e.g., standing on a rock).
